This series of work investigates the ways in which visual texture evokes memory and feeling, both physical and emotional. Exploratory in nature, the images demonstrate how light and organic patterns work to distort or invoke our experiences. They can call to mind past memories, or bring awareness to the fleeting present. "Collecting" textures through photography was a major component of this process, and the resulting works aim to share this experience with the viewer.
