"On the surface" is a collection of work exploring temporal moments of physical connections with nature. Created through a process involving bodily intuition, physical constraints, and textural translation, the resulting images are lasting remnants of impermanent objects and moments. They aim to freeze the past in time while also attempting to communicate three-dimensional organic forms through a two-dimensional space.
